I am a visiting researcher at the Department of Computational Linguistics, University of Zurich. With a Speech-language pathology background, I work as an assistant professor at the Department of Speech-Language Pathology, JSS Institute of Speech and Hearing, India.

received my PhD in Speech-Language Pathology from the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, India in 2020. My doctoral thesis findings documented the behavioral and electrophysiological measures of semantics, morpho-syntax, and syntax processing in Kannada. My research interests include language and cognitive processing in aging, employing methods from psycholinguistics and event-related potentials.

Currently, I am working with Prof. Nathalie Giroud on a project, titled ‘Behavioural and neurophysiological correlates of speech perception in elderly hearing aid users,’ funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation – Scientific Exchange program, for a period of six months (September 2024 – February 2025), at the Department of Computational Linguistics, University of Zurich.
